"CORPORAL PRINCESS BLUEBIRD EYES HER HOOMAN"
Corporal Princess BlueBird, a member of our SPLAT Sea Team, earns the honor of November's Commando of the Month for stepping into ToothPick Maker's shoes, for once again bringing birdie love to her hooman boy, and for just being generally sweet.
(Sweet? That's GOT to be a mistake! She's a Commando!)
To commerate this occasion, Princess BlueBird granted a rare interview to her own hooman slave!
Hooman Slave: So Princess, what do you think of your family and castle?
Princess BlueBird: I think it's a very busy place. Where I came from, only one hooman was there. I had LOTS and LOTS of feathered brothers and sisters. When I came here, I saw that there are almost as many hooman kids as feathered ones. So lots of noise, but only sometimes. My favorite hooman is the little red-headed brother of mine. He loves to dote on me and treat me like the Princess I am. My castle is big enough. I heard TPM's was bigger, but he was a very BIG star here, from what Skyler the Budgie tells me. My human mom wanted to make my castle as different as possible though, because she misses him so much. I wish I could have met him in life. He sounds like he is one COOL commandobirdy!
Hooman Slave: Have any goals in life?
Princess BlueBird: To rule the world, of course. Hoomans make too big of a mess of this world. And they say birds are messy. At least we respect each other, know how to carry off an important mission, AND still have a great time. I also would like to make my hooman brother as happy as possible. I know he misses TPM terribly too. So I help him with his homework (someone has to eat the homework, right?), give him kisses in exchange for scritches, and I taste test off of ALL of his dinner plates. To make sure it is cooked well and not poisoned or anything. I'd also like to find a nice boy birdy to be soulmates with someday. Skittles sounds like a nice boy. We're young and just friends right now, but in the future, who knows, right?
Hooman Slave: How do you get along with the other feathered members of your flock?
Princess BlueBird: First off, I HATE that Meyers Parrot. I wish she'd fall off a cliff. She bit my toe something awful a couple weeks ago and I could just SPIT at her for it. The jealous little snit. The Amazon is crazy. She's completely nutty. She yells Peek A Boo all day and turns her head like she's possessed. Gotta give her credit for biting YOU hoomans though. She loves to do that. The Hahn's is noisy, but very friendly and the Cockatoo is annoying. He's a baby though, and maybe Cockatoos take longer to grow up? I don't know. He chews a LOT of things and is VERY handy for undoing quick links and cage locks. I like him for how mechanical he is. Skyler the Budgie is very friendly and very helpful. He's helping me plan a BIG party for us CommandoBirdies. Indy, his friend and cage mate, is very shy and quiet. But she is nice and has lots of blue in her, so I like her!
Hooman Slave: Favorite foods?
Princess BlueBird: Anything in my bowl! hahaha.. Actually, my favorites are millet and Beak Appetit. YUM!
